Over the last 17 months, RADA has made significant strides in shifting people’s perspective when it comes to various social issues. Launched in March 2018, the RADA Inspire campaign has increasingly begun to shine light on subjects such as taxi and driver behaviour on the road, the treatment of service industry workers, bullying across schools and the workplace, drug and alcohol abuse, our heritage, woman in society, the homeless, elderly and orphans, and the importance of family.

This month, with the cold weather settled in properly, RADA aims to bring a little bit of relief to those who feel it most. July is comfort month and RADA will focus on identifying the need for extra humanitarian care and take action in this area. We encourage you to do the same.

With a dedicated programme, RADA CARE tackles these issues head-on, creating long-lasting support structures that directly serve those in need. The team together with partners AGT Foods Africa are increasing their efforts during July with planned activations which will include soup kitchens in various communities as well as a blanket drive aimed at alleviating winter discomfort around the city. AGT Foods Africa are dedicated patrons of RADA and supply monthly food products from its wide range of pulses, grains, seeds, flours and pea protein which are distributed to RADA projects with the help of KIA SA.

At the heart of RADA Inspire is the necessity for people to marry awareness with action and we encourage you to make a difference, no matter if it’s big or small.

Whether you assist RADA or another NGO, the aim is to improve your contribution to society daily, to raise your resonance and create a ripple effect of positive change,” says CEO and founder J-P Nobrega.

The aim is not only to provide a warm meal and possibly some winter supplies, but to get involved with communities, easing distress and putting a smile on someone else’s face.

RADA recognises that love and support of community can vastly add to a person’s quality of life, allowing them the opportunity to do the same for others. Respect, tolerance and understanding of others is critical in creating a safe and peaceful environment for all.
