The end of the year is fast approaching, but it’s not time to kick back and relax just yet. There is still a lot of work to be done and the team at RADA are gearing up for the ninth initiative in their highly successful and ongoing RADA Inspire campaign.
For the month of November, RADA will shift their focus to orphans, the homeless and the community – a problem area the company has been involved in for many years, as they continually assist the orphans of Thato KeMatla Orphanage in Orange Farm.
RADA will now be expanding their reach.
While RADA’s focus is to empower citizens to lead better lives by making well informed and wise decisions, we understand that every now and then, people need a helping hand. For the month of November, RADA will increase their staple delivery of food and goods to the homes, inviting those who assist around the community (in clean-up and safety) to join the homes for a warm meal.
“RADA believes in a direct exchange of energy and this is our way of showing gratitude to those making a direct difference in the community,”
says J-P Nobrega, Founder and CEO of RADA.
These helpers and those who directly care for the children in the orphanages are angels in the community who act as role models, showing that we as people are able to rise above our circumstances and collectively make a difference.
The RADA Inspire movement was launched in March this year as a means to shift people’s perspective. This is one example of those who have already taken action.
Over the last eight months, RADA has highlighted various subject matter and social ills, inspiring a change in peoples’ behaviour. Some of the issues include taxi and driver behaviour on the road, the treatment of service industry workers, bullying across schools and the workplace, family appreciation, issues surrounding abuse of women and children and, alcohol and drug abuse.
We encourage the citizens of South Africa to take a moment and do something meaningful for those in your community, to show a little gratitude for the small actions that contribute to the greater good. It is important to remember that the only way to create empathy among people in the world is to start with those closest to you and empower others to do the same. We recognise that a sense of togetherness and the love and support of community vastly adds to our quality of life. Let’s spread positivity through our actions.
RADA Inspire is about marrying action with awareness, moving forward inch by inch, and making a difference in people’s lives one day at a time. It is based on the premise that one person can make a difference, and that when you change yourself, you raise your resonance, creating a ripple effect of positive change. You don’t have to be exceptional. You don’t have to exert yourself beyond your means. In the end, all it takes is to do one small thing differently, empowering others with the belief that they may do the same.
