Hlaboloha Primary School

Hlaboloha Primary School is located in Kgotsong, Bothaville in the Free State Province.

Established in 1992 the school caters for 1,158 learners living in the area.  Their primary focus is to deliver quality education for Grade R to Grade 7.

They have set up a feeding scheme at the school providing the learners with nutritious daily meals.  To supplement the meals a fully functional vegetable garden has been created.  Since the programme has been in operation, absenteeism has been reduced considerably.

The school is run by a dedicated team of 29 teachers and six administrative staff members.

Hlaboloha Primary is classified as a quintile one non-fee-paying institution and is a state-funded public school.   Financial subsidies from the government barely cover the operational costs.

RADA was introduced to Hlaboloha Primary School in April 2026 and recognized it as a place where we could provide meaningful support.  With the help of sponsors, we are now contributing to the school’s feeding program ensuring that vulnerable children receive the nutrition they need.  RADA will continue to assess and assist with the needs of Hlaboloha Primary School, its staff, students and the broader community.
