Ben Ten Educare and Creche is a registered non-profit located in Boitumelong close to Bloemhof in the Northwest Province.
The creche was established in April 2012 by Mosele Makgwana and Anastacia Phakedi. Seven staff members and one volunteer currently take care of 65 children daily. The children are aged between 18 months and six years.
Ben Ten Educare and Creche provides quality early childhood development education including storytelling, basic literacy, numeracy, cognitive development, outdoor playtime and activities to children from the vulnerable community in which it is situated. Most of the children’s parents are unemployed and are reliant on grants from government.
Ben Ten ensures that the children receive daily nutritious meals when they are at school.
RADA was introduced to Ben Ten Educare and Creche in April 2026 and recognized it as a place where we could provide meaningful support. With the help of sponsors, we are now contributing to the crèches feeding program ensuring that vulnerable children receive the nutrition they need. RADA will continue to assess and assist with the needs of Ben Ten Educare and Creche, its staff, students and the broader community.
