The Bryanston Country Club Charity Trust (BCCCT), was established in June 2018 with the aim of giving assistance to their staff, caddies, their families and the communities that they live in.
RADA has committed to support the Trust by providing food for the 107 caddies on a monthly basis with the help of sponsors AGT Foods and Kia SA. BCCCT has built a learning centre in order to upskill the caddies on various levels and RADA Training Academy will be getting involved with the training at a subsidised rate. Specific needs will be addressed, which will include life skills largely focusing on taking responsibility for one’s own life which directly impacts the lives of family and friends.
RADA together with BCCCT, aims to encourage positivity and discourage a sense of entitlement and a dependency on handouts. Developing a sense of personal pride goes hand in hand with a positive and empathetic attitude which affects those we encounter on a daily basis. This should be recognised and encouraged as a key factor in everyone’s life.
