Mommy and I Academy is a registered crèche located in Sunrise Park close to Rustenburg in the Northwest Province.
Founded in 2023 by Karabo Pitso with the vision of providing quality early childhood development education to children from disadvantaged communities. Many of the families in the area rely on government grants which makes it difficult for them to afford early learning opportunities for their children.
Mommy and I Academy cares for and educates young children between the ages of three months and five years, preparing them for formal schooling. They have two teachers and one manager who are passionate about nurturing and development. The crèche currently takes care of 14 children.
Mommy and I Academy focuses on holistic development ensuring that children grow academically, emotionally, socially and physically in a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment.
RADA was introduced to Mommy and I Academy in April 2026 and recognized it as a place where we could provide meaningful support. With the help of sponsors, we are now contributing to the crèches feeding program ensuring that vulnerable children receive the nutrition they need. RADA will continue to assess and assist with the needs of Mommy and I Academy, its staff, students and the broader community.
