Orphans, elderly and homeless individuals are often the most neglected souls in our society. People tend to sometimes ignore them purposely because they feel uncomfortable.
We should remember that aging is something that happens to us all, there is absolutely no way of avoiding it. Destitute individuals have often been thrown a curveball and a series of difficult choices or circumstances have culminated in where they find themselves. Orphans are the result of the life choices of others.
Life is just life and it’s most certainly not easy for anyone. The way we handle life is what matters most. Some people face larger challenges than others and everyone has a story to tell. During November as RADA draws attention to the orphans, elderly and the homeless in society, we also focus on the many special individuals who take care of them each day.
There are countless difficulties faced when it comes to taking care of the most vulnerable individuals in our communities. It is a task many choose to avoid, however, there are those special selfless individuals who take on this sometimes-thankless work requiring both physical and mental strength. RADA acknowledges you this month. We thank you for your relentless service and selfless generosity in caring for others.
Individuals should focus on what is good and positive in everyday life. Encouraging positive change within creates a positive impact on numerous daily encounters and interactions, not only with yourself, but with others too. What we do for others does not always need to be big or bold, it just needs to be done with sincerity, kindness and love …that’s what makes the difference and that is how we begin to change the world.
Be the Way. Be the Change. One Day at a Time.
